Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Here is another envelope I made from my Emory & Henry magazine. My main goals on this blog are, of course, to find correspondents and to encourage others to write more letters. However, a secondary goal is to reduce the paper clutter that tends to accumulate around my house.

I admit it, I’m a paper junkie and certainly have pack rat tendencies. I save magazines and junk mail for my collage projects. I buy postcards, greeting cards and stationery at garage sales and thrift stores. So, I’ve promised myself to make do and use what I have on hand, at least for the rest of 2009. We’ll see how that goes. Wish me luck.
